Theory from the Margins

STATEMENT OF AIMS

The ‘Theory from the Margins’ collective deep-reads on current theoretical scholarship from marginalised communities in the global North and South and/or critical interventions based on in-depth studies of marginalised groups. Theory from the Margins is primarily interested in the contemporary global academes’ engagement with what we understand to be ‘theory’.

The collective meets once a month, online or offline, over a recently published text and we invite the author to join us for a conversation on the critical intervention of her work. We request all participants to read the text carefully.

Please contact us at  admin [at] theoryfromthemargins [dot] com  if you have any questions.
