Theory from the Margins creates spaces where interdisciplinary thinking meets questions of politics and the political. Theory from the Margins is primarily interested in the contemporary global academes’ engagement with what we understand to be ‘theory’. 

The collective meets once a month, online or offline, over a recently published text and we invite the author to join us for a conversation on the critical intervention of her work. We request all participants to read the text carefully.

Theory from the Margins is an independent project co-founded by Bodhisattva Chattopadhyay and Moumita Sen. Chattopadhyay is principal investigator of CoFutures (European Research Council H2020-StG, grant agreement no. 852190); CoFutures Literacy (ERC-2022-POC, grant agreement no. 101113215); and Science Fictionality (Norwegian Research Councill FRIPRO-YRT, grant agreement no. 300931). Moumita Sen is principal investigator of Poldei (European Research Council ERC-2022-StG, grant agreement no. 101077605) and Mythopolitics (Norwegian Research Council UTENRIKS, grant agreement no. 303378) and run by the project teams and other affiliated researchers.
